We hope you enjoy reading about the work of our volunteers. On average, it costs £4.83 to keep a VSO volunteer living and working overseas for a day. That may not sound like a vast amount, but the more money we receive the more volunteers we can keep working. If you would like to help support our volunteers, please join the scheme!

Dr. Paul Williams is working at the Bwindi Community Health Centre in Uganda with his partner Nurse Vicky Holt.

UGANDA - Sept 2007 - Sept 2009
Chris is working at Masindi Hospital where he treating patients as well as passing on his extensive medical knowledge to help train Ugandan doctors.

Duncan started his VSO volunteer placement in June 2007. He is providing care for patients and working with students to develop their nursing skills.
